The LEDs on your FloatHub are both dual color (red and green). The left LED shows RED to indicate that the internal GPS system has power, but that it does not currently have an accurate fix. The same LED glowing green indicates a fix.
The right LED shows red to indicate that it is currently searching for a network connection. Once it has successfully found a network connection, it will show solid green.
In addition to the above, LED functionality has evolved over the past 24 months as we have added new device features.
An intermittent green light on the left means your device is receiving and using GPS location data from an external device.
An intermittent green light on the right indicates that your device is using it’s cellular connection (and does not currently have a WiFi connection).
The red LED on the right means no network connection (please see your email for details on this).
If you had a solid green light on the right, that would mean WiFi is connected. An intermittent blinking green light means cellular is connected (although the unit will still use WiFi if it has it).
The flashing red inside the box is probably GPS diagnostics. If it is roughly 1 second between flashes, that means your unit has a GPS fix (and so the the left LED on the main case would be solid green).
