There was a substantial Amazon outage which took down both our primary and backup systems. We should be backup momentarily, our apologies for the downtime. We had hoped to update you sooner (it has been about 9 hours), but had all hands on deck trying to determine exactly what the issue was and then focusing on getting it resolved.
There should be no loss of data, as FloatHub devices will buffer data in these sorts of situations (although it can take some time to upload all the buffered data). The exceptions is AIS data, which is not buffered.
