Seeing Temperature, Pressure, and other FloatHub data in OpenCPN

If your connecting OpenCPN to the WiFi NMEA source on your FloatHub, you might not know you can get temperature, pressure, and other data displayed.

Under CPN Options (Wrench Icon), click on the Plugins icon, and enable the “Dashboard Plugin” for OpenCPN. If you then go into the Preferences for that plugin, you can add data displays for many types of information. Your FloatHub will provide heading, location, air temp, barometric pressure, etc. on it’s own. If it has other NMEA data from depth sounder, anemometer, etc., it will pass those along and the OpenCPN dashboard plugin can show those as well.
