If the unit is mounted where it is difficult to receive GPS (steel boat), an option to take GPS from the NMEA network would be useful. I see the option to install an external antenna, currently have 6 working GPS antennas now. LOL
Indeed, and very frequently requested. We have this working in beta and will be shipping new units with this code in place soon. Once it has been officially released, we will have our normal upgrade policy for any users that want to upgrade to a device with the newer firmware (we send them an updated unit at no cost, they send us back their original unit using the included mailer).
