iOS or Android App?

Are there any plans for apps for iOS or Android? Many other manufacturers have specifically built apps to make configuring and controlling their devices easier.

We do have an on again, off again effort to work on an app (for both platforms). We have, however, decided to prioritize it behind some of our other goals (final shipping of cellular versions, calibration fine-tuning, AIS relaying, etc.).

In the meantime, we have tried to make the main website interface usable on mobile (as is). Most of it is quite workable, although graphs (voltages, speeds, etc.) on older devices with small screens is not currently a great experience.

Thank you releasing an iOS app. However, my primary device is on an Android OS. When will an Android version be released?

Thanks!

Given the surprising (to us) number of responses we’ve been getting from folks definitely in favor of an Android App, we will be making this a priority. Expect an announcement on timing soon.

And thanks for letting us know.

We have not “officially” announced this yet, but if you can try this link on your Android device we’d appreciate any feedback:

Works great - wish I had found it earlier!

Any chance this can be relisted, or can you post the APK? I just upgraded to a new phone and it looks like this is no longer available in the Play Store.

We will be pushing a new Android version to the Play Store before the end of the year. They have a terrible policy of de-listing accounts if you are not constantly pushing new versions, and it takes a little while to get relisted, but we are sorting through it.
