Although FloatHub will generally power up and function correctly with just USB power, this is not the recommended configuration for maximum reliability. For that we recommend wiring it directly into 12 volt battery power using the bottom two screw terminals.
For Cellular versions of FloatHub, the on board cellular modem wil not power up at all unless power is supplied via the screw terminals.
